Designed by award-winning architectural and interior design firm Polk Stanley Wilcox, The Boathouse will be a notable landmark on Evermore Bay’s southern edge and a one-of-a-kind space for Orlando weddings and private events.
This two-story event facility will offer an elegant 2,500 sq. ft. ballroom upstairs with floor to ceiling glass walls, sweeping water views and a 447 sq. ft. outdoor terrace. A short sky bridge connects the main ballroom to an additional 1,017 sq. ft. foyer with a wrap-around terrace perfect for guest arrivals, cocktail hours and evening receptions. An attached kitchen allows for effortless catered events and an ample vendor delivery area that allows for easy setup and removal of even the most elaborate event décor. The building’s interior design will nod to a vintage boathouse aesthetic with a wood slat ‘veil’ on the ceiling that provides both an intimate feel and sound barrier in the space.
On the ground floor, an additional 400 sq. ft. of private glassed space will have direct slip views of Evermore’s custom Chris-Craft boat. This truly unique amenity will be an opportunity for a memorable VIP arrival or an Instagramable end of evening water send off. This space also connects to an expansive private garden lawn, ideal for outdoor wedding ceremonies and events wishing to spread out.
On the opposite side, guests will find the entrance to Evermore’s recreation area where kayak, paddleboards and floaties can be rented and launched. Early morning workout classes such as paddleboard yoga and waterside spin will also gather here, making this facility one that many guests will enjoy during their stay.
